Leah Brecher, LMFT
Leah Brecher is a Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience who assists clients find solutions to life’s problems. In therapy, you will learn how to heal and strengthen your relationship with yourself and how to create a more loving connection with your partner. She incorporates a mix of psychological, educational and spiritual approaches, including EFT, EMDR, and NET, to assist in letting go of disturbing thoughts and feelings, daily relational conflicts and emotional distancing.
Areas of expertise include: Manifesting and sustaining personal relationships; Creating meaningful work; Accepting and moving through health challenges; Resolving separation and divorce respectfully; Supporting adults with children who have learning differences and emotional issues; Moving through significant life transitions; Other psychological, psycho-social and interpersonal issues involving life’s challenges.
Leah received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of Santa Monica in California and her Master of Science in Education from Bank Street College of Education in New York. She received post-graduate training in couples and family work at the Council for Relationships. She is a certified practitioner of EMDR and a clinical member of AAMFT. Additionally, she has taken advanced training in both NET and EFT.
