The purpose is to teach you to take charge!
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)- a very safe, effective, and natural way to promote hair growth. Using the body’s own liquid-gold to promote hair growth. PRP has been shown in numerous studies to be highly effective however, PRP has not yet been approved for the specific purpose of hair restoration by the FDA. However, the Eclipse PRP system used in our office is cleared by the FDA. Hair restoration using PRP is a safe and minimally invasive therapy. In fact, PRP has become a popular alternative to hair transplants in both women and men. Dr. Staid loves using PRP because it is derived from the patient’s own blood and has no chemicals added to it, reducing the likelihood of complications.
Topical Therapies- there are many topical therapies on the market. One of the best known is OTC minoxidil (Rogaine) which is FDA approved for hair loss. Their also non-pharmaceutical topical serum and foams which balanced formulas to enhance hair growth. Additionally, we use compounded prescription peptides (small protein messengers) like GHK-Cu and Zinc-thyulin, which have been found to enhance hair growth.
